How can I set up online payments for businesses within my e-commerce platform through Tap Payments?

To get started just follow the steps below:

  1. Create an account with Tap by signing up here.

  2. You’ll be contacted by your account manager who will create unique platform keys for you. Ensure that you let them know that this is for an e-commerce platform so that they assign you the right keys.

  3. Using these platform keys, you can create businesses under the platform using the Business API and then create merchants linked to the business using the Merchant API. Check this article to learn more about how to onboard businesses and get them set up to accept online payments easily.

That’s it! It’s as simple as that.

Whenever a business is created within your platform, our onboarding team will contact them directly to complete the KYC process and activate their account.
