Recurring billing allows you to schedule a bill to be sent out to your customers at regular intervals depending on your business model, whether that’s daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annually, or annually.
It’s a more efficient way to bill your customers regularly since you can automate the entire process. You also have the option to update or stop the recurring invoices when needed.
This can be considered as a type of subscription payment. However, instead of the amount getting deducted automatically from a customer’s saved card, you can send invoices at pre-determined intervals with a payment link for your customers to pay through.
This is a particularly useful alternative for subscription payments within the MENA region where the local and more popularly used local payment methods such as KNET in Kuwait, Mada in Saudi, or Benefit in Bahrain do not currently support subscription payments.
You can get more details about the recurring billing API from our API documentation. If you still have questions about integrating the recurring billing API within your systems, you can reach out to our customer experience agents available round-the-clock through the live chat on our website.
