How can I send a bill with goCollect?

Sending a bill with goCollect has never been easier. There are two ways you can send bills on goCollect: you can either bill an individual customer or you can bill multiple customers at the same time.

Sending a bill to one:

1. Give your phone a shake or click on the ‘+’ button at the bottom right corner to start creating your bill.

2. Enter the bill details, such as the amount, the description, and, if needed, even a discount, and click next.

3. Enter your customer’s information, such as their mobile number, their name, and their email ID, if you’d like them to receive the bill by email as well. If you have their contact information stored on your phone, you can also directly import them from your phonebook by clicking on the icon beside ‘Mobile Number’.

4. Once that’s done, you can review what the bill looks like and make any necessary changes. You can also change the language of the bill here by clicking on the flag icon on the bottom right.

5. And your bill is officially sent! If you want to send the bill through another platform, such as WhatsApp or social media, you can copy the bill link and send it wherever you want to.

Sending a bill to many: 

1. Give your phone a shake or click on the ‘+’ button at the bottom right corner to start creating your bill.

2. Enter the bill details, such as the amount, the description, and, if needed, even a discount. Once that’s done, click on the group icon at the bottom left of the app.

3. Enter the number of payers you want to send this bill to. If you’re not sure, you can write an approximate number.

4. You’re done! Just send this link to whoever you want, and your customer will enter their own details before paying the bill.

This method of invoicing is particularly useful to those selling a product of fixed value, such as workshops or event tickets.
