How can I add Value Added Tax (VAT) on my bills?

If your business is based in a country with value-added tax, such as Saudi Arabia,  UAE, or Bahrain, calculating and enabling VAT for your bills has never been easier: goCollect does it for you!

When creating a bill, you can just toggle it on or off depending on whether you want VAT to be calculated and added to the bill. If you want to adjust the VAT rate or disable it, you can also do that within your Account Settings. 

Just follow the steps below:

1. Click on the Menu icon on the top left corner of the goCollect app.

2. Click on your business Name and then click on Account Info within the menu that pops up.

3. With the Account Info menu, go to Taxes Info.

4. Here, you can enable or disable VAT and even change the rate you want it to be calculated at.

5. Once it’s enabled here, you can just toggle it on or off when creating a bill if you want to add it to the bill.
