What does it mean when a paid bill status says 'Amount on hold'?

You get the status ‘Amount on hold’ when your payouts are withheld. These amounts will remain within your Tap account but may not be transferred to your bank account just yet. 


This could be due to a couple of different reasons:

  • Your account has not yet been approved (You haven’t selected a price plan and sent your account for activation)
  • An expired ID
  • An expired commercial license
  • An invalid beneficiary bank account information (i.e. Name, IBAN, etc.)


Don’t worry; your money will be safe and sound. It may just be a matter of checking with our customer experience agents through the live chat available within the goCollect app or our website, updating your information, or activating your account.
